Can you do oil paintings from photographs? All of our commissioned oil paintings are painted from a photograph supplied.Do you do oil paintings on canvas? We specialise in paintings that are hand painted oil on canvas. Do you do pencil sketches? We currently don't do pencil sketches. However, our range of work is constantly expanding so please call and we may be able to help. Do you do water colour paintings? As with pencil sketches we don't currently do water colour paintings. However, our range of work is constantly expanding so please call and we may be able to help. What do you do oil paintings of? We do oil paintings of all subjects with absolute confidence. In fact we embrace the challenge of anything unusual. Previously we have covered portraits, cats, dogs, horses, houses, cars, classic cars, military vehicles, yachts and private jets to name a few.
Who are the artists? We work with a selection of very talented and experienced artists. Each artist specialises in a different subject, which maintains an extremely high level of artwork. For example, a different artist would be used for an oil painting of a person to that of a cat or dog. This is to assign the best artist to the painting and ultimately get the best result for you, the customer. Can I send a photograph to be turned into and oil painting for your opinion? Absolutely yes. We are happy to guide you through what to send for your photograph into an oil painting. Even send several and we will help you pick. It will always help if you provide a short description of how you want the piece to turn out.Please find the email address at the bottom of this page. What photograph is best to be used for a photograph into an oil painting? For your photograph into an oil painting it is quite simple, the better the photograph the better the painting. We can turn a surprisingly low quality photograph into an outstanding oil painting. If the photograph is what we consider to be of a quality that we would have difficulty reproducing the photograph into an oil painting well you will be notified. If you choose to not go ahead with the oil painting your money will be refunded. Should you choose to go ahead we will aim to meet your needs. However, the money back guarantee will be void due to our warning of potential problems. Can you amend photographs for the oil painting? We can make minor changes to photographs in the oil painting. For example, you may wish to change the background, so we will also need you to supply a photograph showing the required background and precise instructions of how you wish it to be incorporated. The oil painting will then be painted according to your photograph and instructions. This occasionally may incur a small extra charge depending on the complexity of the amendment. How do I supply my photograph for the oil painting? You can supply your photograph for your oil painting either through our website or by post. Your photograph can be attached to your web order with the file size being roughly 1mb. Alternatively when placing your order please check the “Send by Post” option. When you receive your order confirmation please write your order number on the back of the photograph and post it to us. Unfortunately photographs can not be returned.
What sizes of oil paint do you do? We do a range of standard size for our oil paintings from the smallest being 8x10 inches to the largest we paint at 48x72 inches. However, larger customised paintings can be accommodated.
Can you supply the oil painting framed? We do offer a framing service, please call for details. However, all paintings are standard sizes and various methods of framing will be catered for at your local framers.
How long will the oil painting take? Your painting will usually be delivered in 6-8 weeks.
Will I see the oil painting before it is delivered? Once you have placed your order you will be provided with an account to follow your order. When your painting is complete you will be notified by email that your painting is ready for you to view online in your account area. The digital image rarely does the painting justice with regard to colour, but it should certainly show a good representation of the painting. At this point you are invited to give feedback as to how we can better make your painting resemble your photo.
What if I require an amendment to the oil painting? Just send us details of your amendment and we will get the artist to amend the oil painting to your satisfaction. This should be a very rare occurrence and you will not be aware a change has been made on the finished painting.
What is the shipping fee? Delivery is free within the UK. Overseas delivery is £30.
How do you deliver the oil paintings? The oil paintings are delivered as a rolled canvas in a strong postal tube. If you require your oil painting framed it will be sent by overnight courier. A signature will be required on receipt.
What happens if the oil painting arrives damaged? Very rarely a painting may arrive damaged. If your oil painting is damaged on receipt it is important that you clearly write “damaged on receipt” on the paperwork when signing for the oil painting. You will be required to return the damaged painting to us. We will then paint a replacement for you.
What is your order processing system? You place your order, send photograph and make payment. The piece is painted from your photograph. The painting is completed. You are notified that a digital image is ready for you to view. You approve or request amendments (a limit of three amendments applys). When you are completely satisfied painting is dispatched.
When do I pay for the oil painting? Payment is required when you place your order. However, with our money back guarantee you can rest assured that your money is safe.
What are your guarantees? We operate a system that aims to satisfy our customers. Firstly, we have an approval process so that when the painting is complete a digital image will be sent to you. At this point if there is any part of the painting that you are not satisfied with it will be amended. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied, even after the amendments, your money will be refunded. What is your return policy? During the amendment process there is the opportunity for the painting to be amended three times before you will be asked to accept or reject the painting. If you choose to reject the painting at any stage a full refund will be given. However, if you decide to give instructions that were not in your original directions a charge may be incurred.

Can I visit you? Unfortunately we do not have a gallery open to the public. We do however, attend various trade shows throughout the year.
